Healthy Berry Homemade Jam

3 cups of berries (of your choice)
3 medium sized peaches, peeled and diced
7 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
6 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp lemon (or lime) juice
Directions
- Combine berries, peaches, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan, slowly bringing to a boil over medium heat.
- Crush the fruit using a saucepan-safe spatula (i.e., wood or rubber) into a smooth texture
- Remove saucepan from heat and gradually stir in maple syrup (about 1 tbsp at a time) until desired sweetness is achieved
- Stir in chia seeds and let the jam thicken by setting aside for about 10 minutes
- Let jam cool and transfer into a jar or container and keep in fridge (shelf-life 2-3 weeks). Enjoy with toast, porridge, charcuterie boards, and just about anything!
